Premier Akeeagok announces Cabinet changes

Iqaluit, Nunavut (May 12, 2025) – Premier P.J. Akeeagok today announced changes to Nunavut’s Executive Council, effective immediately.

In addition to her duties as Deputy Premier and Minister of Education, Pamela Gross will assume the additional responsibilities of Minister of Justice, Minister responsible for Labour and Minister responsible for the Human Rights Tribunal. Minister David Akeeagok remains Minister of Community Services and will take on the additional portfolio of Minister of Human Resources, Minister responsible for the Workers' Safety and Compensation Commission.
