Greetings from the Premier 

Each year Premier Aariak sends greetings to Nunavummiut celebrating milestone birthdays and wedding anniversaries.

The Premier also sends special event messages to groups and organizations commemorating significant anniversaries or hosting important territorial, national or international events.

Birthday and Wedding Anniversary Greetings

Do you know a Nunavut couple celebrating a 25th wedding anniversary this year? Are you planning a celebration for an Elder who is 75 years of age? Upon request, the Premier sends congratulatory greetings to Nunavut couples celebrating their 25th anniversary and at five-year intervals thereafter, as well as to Nunavummiut celebrating 75th birthdays and at five-year intervals thereafter.

Special Event Messages

Across Nunavut, various communities, groups, and organizations are celebrating significant anniversaries or hosting territorial and national conference, sports competitions, or cultural events.

Premier Aariak will recognize these special anniversaries and events by sending messages of congratulations and support. One signed hard copy of the message will be sent to you upon request. Please note we are unable to provide an e-mailed copy of the message.
